Versatile Solutions – International Paper – Prattville, Alabama (September 28-present)
- Responsible for capturing capital projects on film utilizing Go Pro video
- Creating training videos using time-lapse film
- Responsible for walking down commissioning for different structures around mill (hydraulic cooling towers, heat exchangers, and pumps)
International Paper - Co-op - Riverdale Mill, Selma, Alabama (Summer 2013, Spring 2014)
- Provided cost reduction to facility of $660,000/year in steam savings through a capital project; responsible for improving product performance through decreasing the runoff pit temperature 5 degrees Fahrenheit, which produced energy savings without negative impact on production
- Implemented an air wand adjuster project, involving hardware manufacturing process improvements that provided for easy adjustments and corrections to machinery
- Developed and deployed multiple trial runs for new paper products from start to finish to assure specifications were met
- Implemented process improvements through development of PI page that created automatic alert for chemical ordering
- Responsible for ordering ~$100,000 worth of chemicals weekly, working closely with multiple external vendors to ensure quality, delivery and cost standards were met
- Created and presented update on plan of action to facility lead team twice a month, using interpersonal skills to engage team in project
